You are a CRUEL and EVIL HUMAN<cough>.
I will not give specifics, as to not draw attention to any one area in the Park, but you know who you are and you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about the Ducks you have been Dumping for years, and more consistently since August 2012. You have dropped 68 from August 2012- July 2014. Of those 68, 14 remain, 8 of which are in very vulnerable situations.
I don't know what you hope to achieve when you do this, but for the 50+ that have gone missing, you are responsible for more than half of them becoming food for Animal Predators within the first 72 hrs of their Abandonment. Which is saying, you are releasing them to a Death Sentence.
In addition to the Juveniles and Adults you have hatched and raised in your bathroom/backyard/wherever, imprinting them on Humans, which makes them even more vulnerable, you also without any Compassion release babies less than a week old, with no Mother to fend for themselves. SHAMEFUL! What is Wrong with YOU?
You are doing no service to the Lake populations or to these Innocent Beings.
It is also against the Law.
Please STOP!
You have proven to have no Heart or Soul, so noting this personal plea is probably useless, but I will anyway. As one of the many people who visit the Park regularly and love the Ducks, it is Heartbreaking to see this happening. Many of us, watch and weep as the numbers of the babies dwindle daily. We are saddened when ones we've come to know just vanish.
By Dumping Domestic Ducks, you are not doing a good thing. You are basically releasing Pets, Animals who have been Imprinted (become Friendly/Familiar to Human touch) which makes them vulnerable.
Please STOP!
